OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, in India. The phone will arrive on November 13, shortly after its debut in China earlier this week. With this launch, OnePlus aims to push performance and AI integration further while continuing to refine its camera and design.
OnePlus 15 packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful processor. This makes it one of the first phones in the world to use this new chip. The company says the new processor delivers exceptional performance and energy efficiency, ideal for gaming, multitasking, and AI-heavy tasks. It is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM, clocked at 10,667 Mbps in the 16GB variant
The phone runs OxygenOS 16, which promises a smoother experience with faster app launches and improved multitasking. The new OxygenOS 16 brings several AI-driven features that make everyday use more personal and intelligent. Users will get AI language tools, smarter photo organization, and even context-aware suggestions. OnePlus has also integrated Google’s Gemini AI assistant, letting users interact with “Mind Space,” a feature that helps recall and act on previously saved information. Another new addition, Plus Mind, works as a personalized “second brain” that adapts to your habits and routines.
The OnePlus 15 also introduces a brand-new DetailMax Engine for better photography. It promises to deliver more detail, color accuracy, and clarity in every shot. This system combines multiple advanced technologies to enhance both daylight and night photography.
It has an Ultra-Clear 26MP Mode, which combines data from multiple 12MP frames and one 50MP high-resolution frame to create sharper and more detailed images. The Clear Burst mode shoots at 10 frames per second, a jump from 6fps on the OnePlus 13. It uses dual-exposure anti-blur technology to capture motion clearly while preserving fine details.
The Clear Night Engine uses Dual Analog Gain to capture brighter and cleaner night shots, reducing noise and improving color accuracy.
It has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The phone also packs a massive 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 15 will go on sale in India starting 8:00 PM IST on November 13. It will be available through Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retailers.
