Nothing has officially launched the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, the newest addition to its Phone 3a lineup. This is the third model in the series after the Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro. The company says the new Lite model is designed to bring the signature Nothing experience to more people, without cutting down on essentials.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. It supports HDR10+, offers 2160Hz PWM dimming, and is protected by Panda Glass. The display looks bright and fluid, making it ideal for watching videos and gaming.

The phone packs the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, the same processor found in the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and is capable of 120fps gaming in BGMI, along with 53% better network performance and a 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, with support for virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB and microSD storage up to 2TB.
The phone runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 on top. The company has confirmed that it will receive 3 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches. Nothing has also promised that Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 will roll out in early 2026.
One new addition is Essential Space, an AI-powered hub for notes, ideas, and quick actions. Users can access it using the Essential Key on the right side of the phone. A single press lets you capture and save content, long-press starts voice recording, and double-tap takes you straight to all saved notes and clips.
The Phone (3a) Lite comes preloaded with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. However, the company says users will be able to uninstall them if they want a cleaner experience. There is also Glance integration, though users can choose to disable it.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite packs a triple-camera setup at the back. It includes a 50MP main Samsung sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera capable of 1080p 60fps video recording. The phone also includes TrueLens Engine 4.0, which helps with AI scene detection, Ultra XDR, and Auto Tone for better color accuracy.
The design stays true to Nothing’s signature style. The phone has a transparent glass back, flat aluminum frame, and a single Glyph light at the bottom-right corner. It comes in White and Black color options and weighs 199 grams with a thickness of 8.3mm. The buttons and frame are blacked out for a minimal look.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, and GPS. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The company claims it can charge up to 50% in 20 minutes, and the battery health remains above 90% even after 1200 charge cycles. However, there is no charger included in the box.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is priced at EUR 249 (approx. Rs. 25,560) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and EUR 279 (approx. Rs. 28,640) for the 8GB + 256GB model. It is now available in Europe and the UK, with India availability expected soon.
With the Phone (3a) Lite, Nothing aims to bring its premium design and clean software experience to a wider audience. It sits between the CMF series and the main Phone 3a lineup.
