iQOO has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, will launch in India on November 26. The announcement comes just days after the phone made its debut in China.
The confirmation came from Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, who shared that the iQOO 15 will be among the first smartphones in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This makes it one of the most powerful Android phones expected this year.
The device will also be the first iQOO smartphone to run OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16, right out of the box. The new software is expected to bring smoother animations, improved multitasking, and better power management.
In China, the iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch 2K+ Samsung flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The panel uses M14 luminescent material, which offers sharper visuals and deeper contrast. iQOO has also included its Q3 chip to ensure high frame rate performance with 2K resolution and 144FPS gaming, something gamers will surely appreciate.
Like previous iQOO models, the iQOO 15 will be available via Amazon India and iQOO’s official website. Pricing details have not been revealed yet, but considering the specs, it will likely target the premium flagship segment.
It packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and claims 4.38 million points on AnTuTu 11. It also has the industry’s largest 8000mm single-layer VC, containing 200 million nano-graphene oxide particles.
The phone has a 50-megapixel Sony main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a 50-megapixel Sony Pro-level periscope telephoto lens.
iQOO 15 packs a 7000mAh single-cell Blue Ocean battery and supports 100W ultra-fast flash charging and 40W wireless fast charging.
