The quirky duck-themed survival game Escape from Duckov has crossed an impressive milestone. Publisher Bilibili and developer Team Soda announced that the game sold over one million units just five days after its release.
Escape from Duckov launched on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 16. It sold 200,000 copies within the first 24 hours and reached 500,000 units by October 19. By October 22, the game hit a peak of 255,300 concurrent players, making it the 76th most played game of all time on Steam by peak player count, and the fifth most played game currently on the platform.

Producer Jeff Chen expressed his gratitude in a press release. “Team Soda is incredibly humbled to have reached such heights. We owe this success to our amazing community of players and our friends at Bilibili Game. Thank you for joining us, whether from the early demo days or just now to see what all the quacking is about.”
Escape from Duckov is a top-down, single-player PvE looter-extraction RPG with a fun duck theme. Unlike hardcore tactical shooters, the game has cartoonish enemies, fog-of-war mechanics, and randomly dropped loot. Players explore a mysterious egg-shaped world that is slowly falling apart. The main goal is to customize your duck, survive, and craft a rocket ship to escape the planet.
The game also includes base-building, weapon customization, and in-depth character progression, making it highly replayable.
