EA Sports FC 26, the latest football game from EA, has made an incredible start. The game launched on September 26, 2025, and in less than two weeks, it has already sold 10 million copies across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

According to data from Alinea Analytics, the game’s early performance shows just how strong EA’s annual football franchise continues to be. Out of the 10 million copies sold, around 60% came from PlayStation players, showing the console’s dominance in the football gaming community.

This strong launch is not surprising, as the EA Sports FC series (formerly known as FIFA) has always been one of the best-selling sports games every year. But even by those standards, crossing 10 million sales in such a short time highlights how big the fan base still is, despite the franchise’s name change.

September turned out to be a big month for sports games overall. Alongside EA Sports FC 26, NBA 2K26 also performed well, selling more than 6 million copies, with 2 million of those sold on PlayStation alone.

In the list of best-selling games on PlayStation for September 2025, EA Sports FC 26 took the top spot, followed by NBA 2K26. Borderlands 4 secured the third position, while Hollow Knight: Silksong was at number four. Other notable titles in the top 10 include Grand Theft Auto V at number five, EA Sports FC 25 at seven, Dying Light: The Beast at eight, and Silent Hill f at number ten.
