BenQ has announced its new PD2770U, a 27-inch 4K professional monitor for India. This is BenQ’s first monitor to come with a built-in color calibrator, which eliminates the need for external devices to achieve precise color accuracy. The company says this monitor makes professional-grade color calibration more accessible for studios, post-production teams, and independent creators.
The BenQ PD2770U is built for professionals who need perfect color accuracy in their work. It is ideal for video editors, photographers, designers, and content creators who depend on consistent and true-to-life visuals. BenQ says that this monitor brings “studio-wide consistency” and makes accurate color reproduction easier than ever.
It has a Built-in Calibration System, powered by Light-Adaptive Calibration. It automatically adjusts color accuracy based on the lighting conditions in your studio. This system is part of BenQ’s AQCOLOR Technology, which focuses on color precision and reliability.
The PD2770U covers 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec.709 color spaces. This wide coverage ensures vibrant, realistic, and consistent colors suitable for design, post-production, and broadcast workflows.
To further improve color evaluation, BenQ includes a Magnetic Shading Hood, which helps eliminate distractions by blocking external light. The display also uses a Nano Matte Panel that diffuses ambient light to reduce glare and maintain contrast. Together, these features help professionals evaluate visuals more accurately, even in bright studio environments.
The PD2770U also comes with DMS Local, which allows a single PC to manage multiple monitors in the studio.
The monitor includes an all-in-one USB-C port that supports both Mac and Windows, along with Thunderbolt 3/4 compatibility and an RJ45 wired connection. It also features a built-in KVM switch, allowing users to control both Mac and PC systems using a single set of keyboard and mouse.
BenQ offers two software programs designed for use with the PD2770U
- Display Pilot 2 – This software lets users customize the interface, manage color settings through ICCsync, and control brightness via Software Dimming. It also includes an Application Mode that automatically adjusts display settings for different creative tasks.
- Display ColorTalk – This software allows users to sync colors across multiple monitors easily. It also comes with one year of free Pantone Connect Premium, helping professionals maintain consistent digital color accuracy across their workflow.
The BenQ PD2770U will be available in India starting November through leading broadcast and photography retail outlets, as well as BenQ India’s official website. The company will announce the price at the time of launch.
