This Diwali, Airtel is giving its prepaid users an extra gift: free cloud storage. Airtel has partnered with Google to offer 30GB of Google One storage in selected Airtel prepaid plans at no extra cost. Google confirmed the offer on X (Twitter).

If you are on an eligible Airtel prepaid plan, you can claim 30GB of Google One storage for free as long as your active plan remains valid. The offer is available through the Airtel Thanks app, which automatically links your Google account to the extra storage.

Once activated, the storage works across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. This makes it easier to back up important files, photos, and emails without worrying about running out of space. It is especially useful for users who rely on Google services but do not want to pay for a subscription right away.

This free storage offer comes alongside Google’s Diwali promotions on Google One plans in India. During the festival period, plans start at just ₹11 per month for three months. The promotion covers Lite, Basic, Standard, and Premium plans, offering 30GB to 2TB of storage at discounted prices.

The Diwali offer runs until October 31, after which the prices return to normal. Users can check the full details, including plan-wise pricing and discounts, in the Google One app or the Airtel Thanks app.

Cloud storage has become important for users. The Airtel and Google partnership gives users a chance to try premium cloud storage for free, and possibly upgrade later if they find it useful.

For many users, 30GB is enough to store documents, photos, and backups from a single device. But if you use multiple devices or want to share storage with family, Google’s Diwali plans starting at ₹11 could be a smart option.
