Lava has launched the Yuva Smart 2, the latest addition to its budget-friendly Yuva series. This phone comes as the successor to the Yuva Smart that was introduced earlier this year. The new model focuses on offering a large display, long battery life, and essential features at a very affordable price.
The Yuva Smart 2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is quite good for its segment. The design includes a glass back finish, which gives it a more premium feel compared to other phones in this range.

It is powered by the UNISOC 9863A processor paired with 3GB of RAM and an option for an additional 3GB of virtual RAM expansion. The phone runs on Android 15 Go Edition, which is optimized for entry-level devices. Storage is set at 64GB internal, expandable up to 512GB via microSD.
The phone has a 13MP primary camera on the back, along with a secondary AI sensor. Lava has added several camera modes like Portrait, Panorama, HDR, Beauty Mode, Night Mode, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, and QR Code scanning. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera housed inside a notch.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and a bottom-ported speaker. Connectivity options cover Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, which should easily last a full day or more. It supports 10W charging via USB Type-C.
The Lava Yuva Smart 2 is priced at Rs. 6,099 and comes in Crystal Blue and Crystal Gold colors. The company is also offering its Service@Home support, which has been well-received by buyers of other Lava phones. The phone is already available across Lava’s retail stores in India.
