Sony has announced that Alan Wake 2 will be one of the free games available to PlayStation Plus members in October 2025. The announcement was made during the recent State of Play presentation.
The timing could not be better, as the horror season arrives just in time for Halloween. Developed by Remedy Entertainment, Alan Wake 2 has been praised for its eerie storytelling and atmospheric gameplay. It has also become Remedy’s fastest-selling game to date, making its arrival on PS Plus a big win for players who have not yet experienced it.
Alongside Alan Wake 2, PS Plus members will also get access to Cocoon, the award-winning puzzle adventure, and the chaotic fun of Goat Simulator 3. Additionally, Sony is expanding the PS Plus Game Catalog by adding The Last of Us Part II, giving fans of the franchise another chance to revisit Joel and Ellie’s journey.
The new lineup will be available for download starting October 7.
