Google has introduced Pixel Care+, a new device protection plan for Pixel hardware, designed to give users more peace of mind. The program offers unlimited accidental damage claims, extended warranty coverage, and even $0 screen and battery repairs

This means Pixel owners no longer need to worry about the most common issues like cracked screens or battery failures, since these repairs will now cost nothing under the plan. Pixel Care+ also covers post-warranty malfunctions, provides genuine Google parts for replacements, and includes priority support from Pixel experts.

The service is very similar to AppleCare+, which Apple has been offering for years. Much like Apple’s plan, Pixel Care+ includes optional theft and loss coverage and makes the claims process easy through the Google Store or the new My Pixel App. Customers also get next-day shipping on replacement devices.

Google has partnered with Asurion, a well-known provider of device protection, to manage the program. Existing subscribers of Google Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection in the U.S. will be migrated to Pixel Care+ in the coming months.

Pixel Care+ is available in the U.S. starting today and can be added to new eligible devices within 60 days of purchase, regardless of where the phone was bought.
