Prophecy Games has confirmed that Deadzone: Rogue, its roguelite first-person shooter, will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on September 3. A free demo is available to try until September 2.
The game was earlier released in Early Access on Steam in April and had its full PC launch on August 11. The upcoming console versions will support cross-play across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series from day one. The studio has also clarified that cross-progression will not be included.
Deadzone: Rogue is set in space and puts players aboard the ISS-X, a ship overrun by rogue machines. Players must fight through swarms of enemies, collect weapons, and unlock upgrades while uncovering the mystery behind their mission. The game features both solo and cooperative play, allowing squads of up to three players to team up.
The shooter promises a mix of fast-paced combat, roguelite progression, and elemental weapon upgrades. Players can experiment with over 30 weapons, face massive biomechanical bosses, and use permanent upgrades to grow stronger after each run.
Deadzone: Rogue will be available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC with cross-play support at launch.
