OnePlus has launched its new Nord CE5 in India. This is the latest Core Edition phone in the Nord series and comes with solid hardware and improved battery life. The phone starts at ₹24,999 and will be available from 12th July 2025.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers up to 1430 nits peak brightness and full DCI-P3 color coverage.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is also an option to expand RAM virtually by up to 12GB more.
To keep performance stable, the phone includes a CryoVelocity VC Cooling system with a graphene-based vapor chamber covering 7,041 mm². OnePlus says the phone supports up to 120 FPS in games like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile.
The Nord CE5 runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15. For the first time in the CE series, OnePlus is promising 4 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
The phone features a 50MP main camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is a 16MP camera with support for 1080p 60fps video. The rear camera can record up to 4K 60fps.
OnePlus Nord CE5 also comes with an In-display fingerprint sensor. It has a bottom speaker and supports USB-C audio. Connectivity options are 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The 7100mAh battery is the largest ever on a OnePlus phone. It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can charge the device to 100% in just over an hour. It also supports bypass charging for better performance during gaming.
