Nothing has launched its most powerful phone yet, the Nothing Phone 3. It is the brand’s first true flagship, and it directly takes on phones like the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S24, and Pixel 8 Pro. Nothing Phone 3 brings a big design upgrade, top-end hardware, and a reliable software experience. The new Glyph matrix looks fresh, the cameras finally feel flagship-grade, and long-term updates make it a solid premium phone.
The Phone 3 features a flat 6.67-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports 10-bit colour and HDR10+. The display panel has 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the back has a regular Gorilla Glass layer.
Nothing has replaced its classic Glyph interface with a new Glyph matrix system, which still lights up the back of the phone for notifications and ringtones. It offers more patterns and functions. It is a 25 x 25 a custom micro-LED disc which can show a digital clock, solar clock, stop watch, battery level, compass, and more. Nothing will also release Glyph SDK so that others can develop build Glyph toys for Glyph Matrix.
The phone also gets IP68 water and dust resistance, which was missing from earlier models.

Nothing Phone 3 is powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. It delivers strong performance for gaming, multitasking, and more. You can get it with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone uses LPDD4X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone also features an essential key. Long-press the Essential Key and turn your phone face down to transcribe and summarize meetings.
The Essential Search is a universal smart search bar you access with a swipe up from the home screen. It searches across contacts, photos, files, and get instant answers too, from weather to calendar to local spots. It also has Essential Space, a calm, central place for your ideas, notes, and content, all organized by AI.
It runs Nothing OS 15 out of the box, and the company has promised 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches. This is a big promise that even some bigger brands do not make.
The Phone 3 features a 50MP main camera (1/1.3” sensor), a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. The periscope camera allows for better zoom shots and portrait photography. On the front, you get a sharp 50MP selfie camera, which makes this phone ideal for creators and vloggers too.
It has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
The device packs a 5500mAh battery. It supports 65W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It also offers 5W reverse wireless charging.
Price and availability
Nothing Phone 3 in India starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at ₹89,999.
Pre-booking starts today, July 1st and the phone will go on sale via Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, Croma, and all leading retail stores starting from July 15, 2025. Buyers can also avail of a ₹5,000 card discount and 24 months of no-cost EMI.
At this price, the phone will compete against the iPhone 16. Pixel 9, Galaxy S25. OnePlus 13 and vivo X200 5G. All these competing devices also offer premium features. So, it will be interesting to see if users actually take an interest in Nothing Phone 3.
