Konami has officially confirmed that a remake of the original Silent Hill is in development. The game is being developed by Bloober Team, the same studio working on the Silent Hill 2 remake.
The news was shared during Konami’s Press Start broadcast. While the company did not reveal many details about the project, they confirmed that the remake will simply be titled Silent Hill.
Konami and Bloober Team had earlier announced their partnership back in February. At that time, it was revealed that the two companies were working together on a new game based on a Konami IP. Now, we know that the game is a remake of the first Silent Hill.
For now, there is no information about the release date, platforms, or gameplay features. But fans can expect more updates in the coming months.
