Hell Clock, a fast-paced roguelike action RPG, is officially launching for PC via Steam on June 18. The game is priced at $19.99, and a free demo is already available if you want to try it before release.
The game is developed by Rogue Snail and published by Mad Mushroom. It mixes action-packed gameplay with a dark fantasy story based on a real historical event — the War of Canudos in Brazil.
You play as Pajeu, a warrior on a mission to rescue the soul of his mentor, The Counselor, who was beheaded during a brutal war. The game is set in the 19th century, where the town of Canudos became a symbol of resistance. When its people stood up against the Republic, they faced a tragic massacre that left 25,000 dead.
In Hell Clock, you battle your way through deadly dungeons filled with undead enemies, twisted versions of those who tried to erase Canudos from history.
Every second matters in Hell Clock. You can rush through waves of enemies, collect powerful loot, and build unique character setups using ancient Relics and Blessings.
You can use lightning-fast melee strikes, powerful bell smashes, or rapid-fire weapons to take down your foes. The game lets you create powerful builds with endless combinations, offering a fresh experience every time you play.
Hell Clock has two modes: Relaxed and Hardcore. The game also features a full story campaign split into three acts, and after launch, more content will arrive. This includes an Endgame Ascension system, Hell Mode, and Constellations.
