Motorola has just launched its latest premium mid-range phone, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, in India. The smartphone joins Motorola’s Edge 60 series lineup. As promised, this new smartphone brings flagship-like features, a bold design, and smart AI additions, all while keeping the pricing competitive.

Unlike its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro has a plastic frame instead of a metal frame. It comes in leather-inspired or nylon-inspired texture, depending on the model. The phone has IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has MIL-STD-810H certification that protects against extreme environments.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro features an impressive 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED quad-curved display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+, has DC and PWM dimming, and can hit up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

The Edge 60 Pro is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset built on the 4nm process. This is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The phone runs Android 15 out of the box and Motorola promises 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security patches. Motorola is also introducing several AI-powered features with this phone. There’s Catch Me Up for summarizing missed notifications, Pay Attention for real-time transcription, Remember This for memory recall, and Next Move for task suggestions. The phone also supports Gemini Live for natural AI-powered conversations and features an AI Key for quick access to these tools.

The Edge 60 Pro comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 50x hybrid zoom.On the front, there is a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.

The phone has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and supports USB Type-C audio. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

The Edge 60 Pro packs a large 6000mAh battery, which supports 90W TurboPower wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. And yes, Motorola includes the charger in the box.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is available in Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Shadow, and Pantone Sparkling Grape.
