Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 15 in India. The phone promises to offer a powerful flagship experience with a premium design and top-tier specifications. The phone was introduced for the global markets at MWC 2025.
The Xiaomi 15 sports a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits peak brightness. The M9 panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision to ensure vibrant colors and excellent contrast. It also has ultra-narrow 1.38mm bezels for edge-to-edge look.
Xiaomi has used a flat one-piece aviation-grade aluminum frame with rounded corners and sharp edges. It maintains a compact 71.2mm width that makes it easy to use one-handed.. The Liquid Silver color variant even comes with a 3D hot-bent glass back, giving it a unique wave-like texture.
It packs Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno 830 GPU. It also has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi has integrated its IceLoop Wing-Type cooling system, which is said to be 3x more efficient than traditional vapor chamber cooling.
Xiaomi continues its Leica partnership. The phoen has 50MP primary sensor with Hyper OIS, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and 50MP telephoto lens with OIS and 2.6X optical zoom. It also has Xiaomi AISP 2.0 that enhances computational photography for better low-light shots. The phoen supports 8K video recording making it good for video creators. It also has 32MP front camera that supports 4K 60fps video recording.
Xiaomi has finally included an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It has Stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos. There is also a 4-microphone array. The phone also features 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 3.2, and dual SIM support (nano + eSIM).
It packs a 5240mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It also supports Magnetic charging. The Xiaomi Surge P3 and G1 chips ensures better battery management and longer lifespan.
