Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 smartphones in India and global markets. The new devices promise to offer flagship-like displays, powerful processors, long-term software support, and enhanced camera capabilities.

All three phones boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and a vibrant viewing experience. The Galaxy A56 and A36 take things further with HDR support, 1,200 nits HBM brightness, and 1,900 nits peak brightness.

The entire lineup features IP67 water and dust resistance rating. However, only the Galaxy A56 features a premium metal frame.

Galaxy A56 is the first phone to feature the Exynos 1580 (4nm) chipset. Galaxy A36 is the first Samsung phone to offer Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (6nm) SoC, and Galaxy A26 uses the Exynos 1380 chipset. Both the A56 and A36 feature a larger vapor chamber for improved thermal management.

All three phones ship with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box, with 6 years of major Android and One UI updates, along with 6 years of security updates. There is also a Galaxy A56 5G Enterprise Edition, and it will receive 7 years of security updates, a 3-year warranty, and a 2-year product lifecycle guarantee.

All three phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery. Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 support 45W fast charging with Super Fast Charge 2.0. Galaxy A26 offers 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy A-series lineup will be available globally starting in March 2025. However, the Galaxy A56 5G will launch later this year in the US.
