Square Enix has officially launched SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered at today’s Nintendo Direct. The game boasts enhanced visuals, expanded content, and new gameplay improvements. The remastered edition is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), iOS, and Android.
SaGa Frontier 2 was originally released in 1999 and quickly became a fan favorite due to its unique event-based storytelling, deep strategic battles, and stunning watercolor visuals. The remastered version stays true to its roots while introducing modern enhancements. The game features enhanced HD Watercolor Graphics offering a signature hand-painted aesthetic. It also has expanded Story & New Characters. The company has also improved Combat System and added new Endgame Challenges.
The game follows the intertwined journeys of Gustave and Wil Knights. Their span multiple generations. Their stories unfold across multiple generations, shaping the world of Sandail. Players experience the event-based narrative and explore different perspectives.
