Capcom has officially brought the Resident Evil 3 remake to Apple devices. The game is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac via the App Store. Resident Evil 3 is compatible with all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro models, and any iPad or Mac equipped with the M1 chip or later.

Resident Evil 3 follows Jill Valentine, a S.T.A.R.S. officer, as she desperately tries to escape the chaos of Raccoon City. The game is built around the horror of being relentlessly hunted by Nemesis, a terrifying Bio Organic Weapon. Powered by Capcom’s RE ENGINE, this remake delivers high-quality visuals and intense gameplay, making full use of modern hardware capabilities.

Like other Resident Evil games on Apple devices, players can download and try a portion of the game for free before deciding to purchase the full version. The game also supports cross-progression. So, players can continue their progress across iPhone, iPad, and Mac as long as they are logged into the same Apple Account.

Resident Evil 3 on iPhone and iPad includes customizable touch controls for better on-the-go gameplay. A new Auto Fire feature allows weapons to fire automatically after aiming at enemies for a short duration, making combat smoother for mobile players. Additionally, the game supports a variety of external controllers across all Apple devices for a more traditional gaming experience.

The game was originally released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It has also been available on the Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming. With its arrival on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, more players now have access to this survival horror experience, whether at home or on the go.
