Vivo V50 with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 launched in India

Vivo today launched its latest Vivo V50 smartphone in India. The device comes with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 50MP dual camera, 50 MP selfie camera, and 6000mAh battery.

Vivo V50 comes in Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Night colors. The Starry Night uses India’s First 3D-Star Technology that transforms the phone’s back panel into a living, breathing canvas. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo V50 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 4500 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+. It also has Diamond Shield Glass protection to avoid scratches.

The smartphone packs Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with Adreno 720 GPU. The phone also gets up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.

It runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. The phone will get 3 Android updates and security updates for 4 years. There are also several AI features including Circle to Search, live call translation, Transcript assist, and Erase 2.0.

The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS and ZEISS optics. It also has 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera. It also supports 4K video recording. It also has 50 megapixels auto focus front-facing camera for selfies. It ensures excellent selfies and video calls with 4K video recording support.

Vivo V50 has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has Stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C audio.

Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C 2.0. Vivo V50 packs a 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
