Square Enix has officially discontinued support for the iOS version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition due to an unfixable bug. As a result, the game has been removed from the App Store. So, iOS players aren’t able to access their purchased content

The problem started on January 24, 2025, when changes to Apple’s in-app purchase system stopped players from accessing content they had already bought. Square Enix tried to fix the issue but couldn’t, so they decided to end support for the iOS version instead.

Square Enix is offering refunds for in-app purchases made after January 2025. This includes the full game and 15 in-game items such as weapons, crystals, and upgrades. However, refund requests must be made through Apple Support before the August 31, 2025 deadline. Square Enix will not provide assistance beyond that date.

While the iOS version is no longer supported, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remains available on Android, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. The game supports cross-play and cross-platform saves. So, iOS users can still continue their journey on other platforms without losing their progress.
