OPPO has officially unveiled its latest foldable smartphone OPPO Find N5. This is a premium foldable smartphone that brings upgrades in display technology, performance, and durability.
The OPPO Find N5 features an impressive 8.12-inch 2K OLED foldable display with a 1-120Hz LTPO panel. It boasts up to 2,100 nits peak brightness and uses Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) for added durability. The phone also has a 6.62-inch FHD+ OLED screen with support for a 1-120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,450 nits. It has Ceramic Guard protection. The display is also certified by TÜV Rheinland
The foldable design is enhanced by a 10% narrower and 30% shallower crease. It also has 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, an improvement from the 1440Hz in its predecessor. The device is also stylus-compatible.
The Find N5 is incredibly slim. It measures just 4.21mm when unfolded and 8.93mm when folded. It is available in two versions: a glass model weighing 229g and a leather variant at 239g. The device also includes an alert slider for quick access to essential functions.
OPPO has introduced a titanium flexion hinge, constructed with aerospace-grade 5 titanium alloy using 3D printing technology. The hinge is 26% slimmer while offering 36% greater rigidity than the previous model. It has been tested for 100,000 folds to ensure long-term reliability.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage for global markets. In China, the phone will also be available in additional configurations including a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model and a high-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant with satellite communication support.
The device runs on Android 15 with OPPO’s ColorOS 15. It also has several AI-powered features such as enhanced multitasking, AI call summaries, and an upcoming AI search tool. It also includes O+ Connect for Mac that allows seamless file and image sharing between the phone and a Mac device.
The Find N5 has a triple-camera setup co-engineered with Hasselblad. It includes a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.8, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera (116° field of view, f/2.2), and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Periscope lens offers 3x optical zoom, 6x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, and 10cm telemacro support. For selfies and video calls, It also offers an 8MP front-facing camera which can also record up to 4K videos.
The phone has stereo speakers with support for USB Type-C audio. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB-C.
Find N5 houses a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. It can fully charge in just 42 minutes. The phone also supports 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.
The device also carries Water resistant (IPX6/IPX8/IPX9) ratings.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO Find N5 will be available globally in Misty White and Cosmic Black. The pricing for Singapore is set at SGD 2,499, with availability starting from February 28th.
In China, an additional Dusk Purple leather-back variant is available at:
- 8,999 yuan for the 12GB+256GB model
- 9,999 yuan for the 16GB+512GB model
- 10,999 yuan for the 16GB+1TB variant with satellite communication
Pre-orders in China start on February 20th, with sales starting from February 26th.
