Limited Run Games has officially unveiled the first trailer for the Gex Trilogy. The remastered collection is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2025.
The Gex Trilogy bundles together three classic platformers: Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. These games were originally released in the ‘90s and were known for their humor, TV and movie parodies. Now, with updated visuals, improved controls, and achievement/trophy support, the remastered trilogy promises to offer fans a fresh way to experience the franchise.
Limited Run Games uses its proprietary Carbon Engine to ensure an authentic retro experience while adding modern enhancements. The trilogy will feature:
- Rewind and Save State – Fix platforming mistakes instantly.
- Widescreen Support – Available for Enter the Gecko and Deep Cover Gecko.
- Music Player & Media Viewer – Includes all in-game tracks and exclusive promotional material.
- Exclusive Interview – A brand-new behind-the-scenes talk with Dana Gould, the original voice of Gex in the USA.
Each game retains its unique mechanics, with some improvements.
