OnePlus today launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 13 in India. The smartphone comes with top-notch internals and a good design.
The smartphone comes in three colors. The Arctic Dawn version has next-generation surface-based glass coating for a smooth finish. The Midnight Ocean version has skin-friendly microfiber vegan leather material. The Black Eclipse debuts a sophisticated black rosewood grain glass process. OnePlus 13 has an ultra-narrow micro-arc middle frame and retains the three-stage alert slide. It also has a new integrated antenna and the Alert Slider solution to deliver an enhanced antenna performance for gaming.
OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The display panel has 1600 nits typical brightness and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It also has Dolby Vision support for offering good viewing experience. The Crystal Shield super ceramic glass protection has been added to protect the display from scratches.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite 4nm SpC with 900MHz Adreno 830 GPU. It comes with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The company offers three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 24GB + 1TB. The phone also includes a 9925mm² dual cryo velocity VC heat dissipation area.
The rear camera setup has 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, 50MP 120° ultra-wide camera, and 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT600 3X tri-prism periscope telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture and OIS. The Periscope lens has been updated with a multi-prism reflection structure for a more advanced and scientific optical path design . For selfies, the phone also has 32MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX615 sensor. The rear camera can record up to 8K videos while you can record 4k 30 fps from the selfie camera.
OnePLus 13 has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. It has Stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, + GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1, and NFC.
It packs a large 6000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It has a dual-cell battery with the highest 805Wh/L energy density for a dual-cell battery. OnePlus claims that the phone charges up to 100% charging in 36 minutes.
