Samsung India today launched its mid-range smartphone Samsung Galaxy A16 5G in India. The phone prices software updates until October 31, 2030. It also has good hardware specs. Now let’s talk about the phone in detail.
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone runs One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. Samsung also promises 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates. This is the first mid-range Samsung phone to get long OS updates.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and comes with 128GB or 256GB storage. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD card.
It has 50 megapixels primary camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 13 megapixels selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has bottom-ported speakers and USB Type-C audio support. It also has 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C Port, and NFC. The phone packs 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
