Nothing just introduced Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition in India. The phone has similar specs as the Nothing Phone (2a), but has design changes made by the Nothing community. Nothing received over 900 submissions from 47 countries and selected one design.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition features a green-tinted phosphorescent material finish on the back that emits a soft glow in the dark. It allows you to locate the phone in the dark.
Nothing has also added 6 wallpapers, created by the community, to match the glowing design.
The packaging of the phone also features a 3D interpretation of the phone glowing in the dark. So, it perfectly complements phone’s design. The entire “Phosphorescence” concept also extends to the marketing campaign with the slogan “Find your light. Capture your light.”
Just to remind you, the phone has good specs for the price. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The 10-bit color panel has HDR10+ and offers up to 1300 nits peak brightness. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The smartphone packs 3GHz Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 4nm processor and Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It has 12GB LPDD4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The rear camera has 50 megapixel primary camera with Samsung GN9 sensor and OIS along with 50 megapixels 114° Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera. It also has 50 megapixel selfie camera.
The phone offers an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 50W wired charging.
