Google has started rolling out Android 15 for Pixel devices starting today. Android 15 comes with several new features, enhanced security, and more.

One of the most notable features of Android 15 is the new Theft Detection Lock. This AI-powered tool helps users keep their personal data safe in the event of theft. When it detects that someone has snatched your phone and is attempting to escape by running, biking, or driving away, the phone will automatically lock itself to prevent unauthorized access.

Android 15 also requires authentication for making changes to critical settings. For example removing a SIM card or disabling the “Find My Device” feature requires authentication.

Devices now include Private Space where keeping your sensitive apps, such as banking, social, or dating apps. This space will remain invisible and apps will be hidden from your app list, recent apps view, and settings. There will no notifications from these apps.

I will talk about Android 15 features in a separate article.
