Samsung India announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G in its existing M0series of smartphones. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 50+8+2 MP rear camera, 50MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy M55s features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. The display has a hole punch for the selfie camera at the top center of the display.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (4nm) SoC and Adreno 644 GPU. It has 8GB RAM for smooth multitasking. The phone is offered with 128GB and 256GB internal storage models with an option to expand storage up to 1TB via microSD card.
The phone runs Android 14 with One UI 6 out of the box. The software includes Samsung Knox Vault for hardware-level security in the phone to keep your data safe. Samsung also promises 4 major Android upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It also has 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. For selfies, the phone has 50 megapixels front camera. Users can also record videos from rear and front cameras simultaneously in split screen mode.
Samsung Galaxy M55s also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity options.
The phone packs a large 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. However, the phone doesn’t come with a power adapter.
Galaxy M55s 5G has a dimensions of 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8mm and weighs 180g. It comes in Thunder Black and Coral Green colors.
