Samsung has today launched a new entry-level smartphone Samsung Galaxy M05 in its M-series of smartphones. The phone seems rebranded Galaxy A05 as it shares similar specifications.
Samsung Galaxy M05 comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) display. It has a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. The phone also runs One UI Core 6.0 based on Android 14. Samsung also promises 2 Major OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
It packs an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone also offers 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB with microSD.
The phone has a dual camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has 8 megapixels selfie camera.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the side button. It also has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. Samsung Galaxy M05 packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The phone measures 168.8 x 78.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 195g. It comes only in Mint Green color.
Samsung Galaxy M05 is priced at Rs. 7999. It will be available from Amazon, Samsung.com and at select retail stores.
