Motorola today launched its latest smartphone Motorola Edge 50 Neo in India. The phone joins the existing Edge series that already has some impressive smartphones. Motorola Edge 50 Neo was announced last month.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo follows the same design language we see in other Edge series smartphones. It has a durable build. MIL-STD 810H certification makes the phone rugged and IP68 protects the phone from dust and water. Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes in Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana colors. All the models feature a vegan leather finish that looks really premium.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes with a 6.4-inch 1.5K pOLED LTPO display with 1200×2670 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It boasts 100% DCI-P3 color space, HDR10+ support, and 2800 nits of HDR Peak Brightness. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartphone packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4nm processor and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It comes in two models: 8GB+256 and 12+512GB. The phone uses LPDDR4X RAM and uMCP storage. It also features RAM Boost 3.0 to offer virtual RAM expansion.
It runs Android 14 out of the box. The company also promises 5 OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates in the phone. This is also the first time Motorola is offering 5 OS upgrades in any phone. You get the new Hello UX that promises to offer a personalized and secure digital experience. It also comes with Moto AI that can craft artwork from your ideas. You can generate wallpapers and themes matching your style, connect your photo to your PC for quick file and notification sharing, or create focused space for fewer interruptions.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, OIS, and f/1.8 aperture. It also has 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera with macro option, and a 10 megapixels 3x Telephoto camera. The phone also offers a 32 megapixels front-facing camera. Another good thing is that the phone can record 4K videos from both rear and front cameras.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. So, the audio experience will also be good on this phone. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports Face Unlock.

The phone packs a 4310mAh battery with support for 68W Turbocharging and 15W wireless charging.
Motorola Edge 50 neo with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 23999. It will be available from Flipkart, Motorola India online store, and offline stores starting from September 24th.
