Lenovo today launched its latest tablet Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2024) in China. It is the successor to last year’s Legion Tab Y700 and comes with several improvements over its predecessor.
Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2024) features an 8.8-inch 2.5K LCD display with 165Hz variable refresh rate and 2560 x 1600 Pixels resolution. It also supports 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and DC Dimming. The display panel also has up to 500 nits brightness.
There’s also a variant with a Super Control Smart Edition screen that promises to improve smoothness by 4.1 times, reduce screen glare by 96.5%, and reduce flash points by 45% compared to normal anti-glare screens.
The tablet packs an Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm processor and Adreno 750 GPU. There’s a large 10004mm² VC area, larger than the display of a normal pone. It also has dual x-axis linear motors that provide 30% stronger feedback. The tablet comes in two models 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB with microSD. Lenovo uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for fast read and write performance.
It has a 13 megapixel primary camera on the back and 8 megapixel front-facing camera.
Legion Tab Y700 (2024) has a stereo speakers setup with support for Dolby Atmos. It also has Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, and a USB Type-C 2.0.
The tablet packs a 6550mAh battery and supports 68W fast charging. Lenovo says that the tablet can offer 8.9 hours of gaming on a full charge battery.
Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2024) comes in Carbon Crystal Black and Ice Soul White color variants with starting prices of 2899 yuan and 2999 yuan, respectively. The Super Control Smart Edition variant starts at 3299 yuan.
