Huawei has now created a buzz by launching a new smartphone called Huawei Mate XT Ultimate. This is the world’s first ti-fold smartphone that promises offer a unique design and versatile user experience.

When the phone is unfolded, it offers a massive 10.2-inch (3,184 x 2,232 pixels) LTPO OLED screen. So you get a big space for multitasking, gaming, and content consumption. With a single fold, the display shrinks to 7.9 inches (2,232 x 2,048 Pixels) to provide a tablet-like experience. After completely folding the phone, it becomes a 6.4-inch (2,232 x 1,008 pixels) display smartphone. Huawei boasts a 92% screen-to-body ratio and offers a 16:11 aspect ratio.

The phone also claims to offer a premium build quality made of glass and metal. It has a unique hinge design that has a sophisticated mechanism to prevent the device from accidentally unfolding. Folding and unfolding are also smooth.

I checked the official listing of the phone on the official website. Sadly, there is no mention of the chipset. The device packs 16GB RAM and will come with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate also has a capable camera setup. It has a 50 megapixels primary camera with PDAF and OIS. The phone also has a 12 megapixels telephoto camera offering 5.5x optical zoom and 112 megapixels ultra-wide-angle. It also has a 8 megapixels selfie camera on the large display which remains at the top when the device is folded.

The phone also has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, UWB, GPS (L1 + L5), Beidou, GLONASS, NavIC, and USB Type-C. It also includes a Side fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor.
