At the MadeByGoogle 2024 event, Google announced Gemini Live. The feature lets users have natural, back-and-forth conversations with their AI assistant. It is designed to offer a real-time conversation than a traditional chatbot interaction. Initially, Gemini Live was only available to users with Gemini Advanced subscriptions. Now Google has started rolling out Gemini Live for free to all Android users.

Gemini Live app is available in the Gemini app that is available for free in the Play Store. So, it is available for Android users. For now, the feature is available only in English, but support for more languages will be added soon.

Open the Gemini app and tap the sparkle icon in the bottom right to activate Gemini Live. It will open a screen with two buttons to start the conversation. Once your conversation is over, you can also see a transcription of the whole interaction.

This move will make Gemini Live accessible to a wider audience. So, more people can try the feature and help Google improve it by providing feedback. It will also encourage developers to create new applications and services with AI integration.
