While launching new iPhones, Apple never mentions RAM and battery capacities. So, we have to wait until these phones go on sale to know the battery capacities of RAM. This is because RAM and battery capacity details don’t give an exact idea of iPhone’s performance and battery life. The iOS is optimised enough to provide better multitasking and improved batter life even even with lower RAM and battery.

Thanks to Blogdoiphone, now we know the battery capacity of each iPhone 16 series model. In the iPhone 16 series, Apple has added slightly bigger batteries. Although the change is not big, it is important for people to know it.

  • iPhone 16 – 3,561 mAh
  • iPhone 16 Plus – 4,674 mAh
  • iPhone 16 Pro – 3,582 mAh
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max – 4,685 mAh

Just for the comparison, here’s list of battery capacities of iPhone 15 series models

  • iPhone 15 – 3,349 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Plus – 4,383 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Pro – 3,274 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max – 4,422 mAh

The biggest model iPhone 16 Pro Max has just a 4,685 mAh battery. If we look at Android phones, most Android phones pack 5000 mAh or larger batteries. Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5,000 mAh battery and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5,060 mAh battery. However, the iPhone 16 Pro is still rated as offering almost similar battery backup due to optimized software.

iPhone 16 starts at Rs 79,900 and iPhone iPhone 16 Plus starts at Rs 89,900. If I talk about Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900, and the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,44,900.
