At its Global Press Conference (GPC) 2024, Acer introduced its first-ever handheld gaming PC dubbed Acer Nitro Blaze 7. The device has powerful specs including a 144Hz display, AMD Ryzen 7 processor, and 2TB SSD storage. The device runs Windows 11 out of the box.

The device is well-designed and comfortable to hold. It has A B X Y buttons, D-Pad, LB/RB Bumpers, LS/RS Sticks, and LT/RT Hall effect triggers. The power button also has an embedded fingerprint reader.

Acer Nitro Blaze 7 features a 7-inch full-HD IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display also boasts 7ms response time and 100 percent sRGB coverage. It also has AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen tearing.

The device packs an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor with up to 5.1 GHz max boost and AMD Radeon 780M GPU. It can deliver up to 39 total AI trillion operations per second. The handheld gaming console also supports on-device AI capabilities and features Radeon Super Resolution technology for real-time graphical upscaling. Acer has also added a cooling system to ensure optimal performance.

Acer Nitro Blaze 7 has 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage.

With Acer Game Space, you can access all your favorite games. It integrates different accounts into one convenient hub. So, you can quickly find and play your games. The app also offers additional features like game recording, performance optimization, and customization options. It also supports cloud gaming services and lets users stream games from cloud gaming servers.

The device has USB Type-C 4.0 ports, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. There’s also a stereo speaker setup.

It packs a 50.04Wh battery and comes with a 65W adapter. Users can expect between 4-6 hours of gameplay on a single charge.
