According to the latest report by Xiaomi Time, Xiaomi phones will soon get the ability to detect hidden cameras. The company is working on HyperOS 2.0 which will include a hidden camera detection feature.
Xiaomi’s hidden camera detection feature will use wireless local area network (WLAN) signals to detect hidden cameras. The feature will work only if the hidden cameras are connected to the local Wi-Fi network.
The shared screenshots demonstrate how the feature could work. Tap the Start Scanning button and the feature will scan the network to detect hidden cameras.
The feature will be helpful for travelers who often stay at unknown places and hotels.
There is no official confirmation from the company. So, we will have to wait for a few months until we get HypeOS 2.0 or official confirmation from the company. HyperOS 2.0 will be based on Android 15 and is expected to launch HyperOS 2.0 in October.
