Along with Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, Samsung also launched its latest smartwatches Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Both Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra run on Wear OS 5.
Galaxy Watch 7 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes. These watches feature 1.3-inch and 1.5-inch AMOLED Always-on Display. It packs Exynos W1000 Soc, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. The 44mm model packs a 425 mAh battery and the 40mm model has a 300 mAh battery. Both models support WPC-based wireless charging.
Watch 7 comes with FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea detection, real-time Heart Rate monitoring, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, Electrocardiogram, and Blood Pressure monitoring.
Galaxy Watch Ultra features a 1.5-inch AMOLED Always-on display with 480×480 pixels resolution. The watch packs Exynous W1000 SoC. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra packs a 590mAh battery. It promises up to 100 hours in Power Saving mode and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving mode.
Galaxy Watch Ultra can track 100 sports and multi-course workouts. It also has FTP index tracking or Functional Threshold Power. It has a new Race mode for runners that lets users compare current performance to a past performance in real-time. The Watch Ultra also has AI-enhanced tracking algorithms and enhanced BioActive Sensor.
These watches run Wear OS 5 and support several apps including Google apps, Galaxy services, and third-party apps. Both watches can do advanced glycation tracking to monitor sugar levels.
Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra offer LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo connectivity.
Galaxy Watch7 has 5ATM water resistance along with IP68 and MIL-STD 810H. Galaxy Watch Ultra offers better durability with 10ATM water resistance, IP68 rating, and MIL-STD 810H.
