CMF today launched its first smartphone CMF Phone 1 in India. So, we now know about the specifications and design of the phone.
The most notable thing about the phone is its design and customizable back panel. The phone has screws on the back that you can unscrew to remove the back panel and add a different color back panel to get the feel of the new phone again. The phone comes in Light Green, Blue, and Orange colors. The Blue and Orange color options offer a vegan leather finish.
The company is also offering fold-out stand, cardholder, and lanyard accessories. These accessories also need unscrewing some of the screws to attach.
Unlike Nothing Phone, this phone doesn’t feature a transparent design. However, customizable back seems a unique selling point. The phone measures 164x 77x 8mm but the Blue and Orange color variants are slightly thicker with 9mm thickness. It is also IP52 dust and splash-resistant.
CMF Phone 1 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The dispel has support for 10-bit color and HDR10+. It ahs up to 700 nits of typical brightness and 2000 nits of peak brightness.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4nm processor and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It comes in two models 6+128GB and 8+256GB. The phone uses LPDD4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 2TB with microSD. Considering the price, the performance of the phone is good. There will be no problem in day to day performance and you can also enjoy casual gaming. COD and BGMI offer around 60fps but other high-end games will have even lower FPS.
CMF Phone 1 runs Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6 out of the box. The company also primacies 1 major Android OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary portrait sensor. It can record up to 4k videos at 30fps. The phone has 16 megapixels front camera for selfies.
CMF Phone 1 has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has 5G SA/NSA , Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. It is worth noting that the phone doesn’t come with a charging adapter. You will have to buy it separately for Rs. 799.
