boAt has announced the launch of its latest wearable fitness tracker device called ‘boAt Smart RingActive’ in India. This is the successor to boAt Smart Ring that was launch last year.

boAt SmartRing Active features a premium ceramic and metallic build offering a comfortable and easily wearable design. It comes in 6 sizes and 3 different colors. The smart ring also has a 5ATM rating that makes it water and sweat-resistant.

The device has 6 axis motion sensors and provides comprehensive health and fitness tracking. It can monitor daily physical activities such as steps, distance, and calories burned. The ring also supports over 20 sports and activities

The ring also monitors heart rate during workouts and throughout the day to provide a detailed analysis and activity records. It can also provide details of body temperature variations, insights into blood oxygen levels, sleep analysis details, and menstrual tracking for women.

boAt Smart Ring Active has smart touch controls that let users interact with the device and control compatible devices. For example, you can capture photos from a smartphone using the ring as a remote shutter.

The fitness data is synced with the boAt Crest App to provide data visualizations and insights. The app also rewards boAt Coins based on fitness achievements and participation in fitness challenges.

The device comes with a magnetic charging case for safe storage and charging. boAt Smart Ring Active promises up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge. The battery can be extended up to 30 days with the charging case if Auto monitoring is enabled.

The boAt Smart Ring Active costs Rs. 2,999 and will be available on Amazon.in, Flipkart, and boAt website starting July 20.
