Vivo India has launched two new budget smartphones Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e in its Y series of smartphones in India. These phones are said to be the successor to Vivo Y17 which was launched in 2019.
Vivo Y18e and Vivo Y18 feature similar specifications with the only difference in camera setup. Vivo Y18e also lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Y18 features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 840 nits peak brightness. These phones pack Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. There’s 4GB RAM in both phones. Vivo Y18e only comes with 64GB internal storage. Vivo Y18 is offered in 64GB or 128GB storage options. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB.
Vivo Y18e features a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera. It has 5-megapixel selfie camera. Vivo V18 features a 50 megapixels primary camera and 0.08 megapixels secondary camera. The phone has 8 megapixels front camera.
Vivo Y18e lacks a fingerprint sensor but the Vivo Y18 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/QZSS, and USB Type-C.
Vivo Y18 and Vivo Y18e pack 5000mAh battery and support 15W charging.
These phones are also IP54 Dust and water-resistant. Both phones come in Space Black and Gem Green colors. There is a nanometer-scale coating for glass-like transparency.
