The new Pencil Pro features a new sensor in the barrel. It can sense squeeze. So, users can switch tools, line weights, and colors by squeezing. It also features a haptic engine that confirms actions when users squeeze or double-tap.

The gyroscope sensor in Apple Pencil allows users to roll the pencil for precise control. The hover functionality lets users preview by touching down Apple Pencil on the display.

The new Apple Pencil Pro weighs 20g. It uses Bluetooth to connect with the iPad and magnetically attaches to the iPad for charging.

Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models announced today. It costs USD 129. In India, the new Apple Pencil Pro is priced at Rs. 11900.
