Samsung rebrands Game Launcher to Gaming Hub on Galaxy

Samsung Gaming Hub

Samsung phones come with the Game Launcher app that serves as a central location to access all games on your Samsung phones. The company has now rebranded Game Launcher to Gaming Hub.

The company confirmed that Gaming Hub for mobile is currently in beta and will offer a select number of games. It will offer the same features that were in Game Launcher.

“Our vision of Gaming Hub for mobile is to provide an all-in-one gaming platform optimized for Galaxy owners that makes playing and discovering games much easier without downloading and waiting,” said Jikhan Jung, Samsung Corporate Vice President.

Samsung display products including smart TVs, monitors, and projects come with the Gaming Hub that serves the same thing. So, the rebranding could be the to provide a uniform name across devices.

Game Launcher also supported Instant Plays. It is also available on Gaming Hub. So, there’s nothing new in Gaming Hub. It has everything that is already available in Game Launcher. The feature lets users play games without the need to download or install. Just hit play and enjoy the game. It is worth noting that Instant Plays are currently in limited beta and are only available in the US and Canada.
