Xiaomi has now confirmed that it will launch its next flagship phone Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China on February 22nd. It is scheduled at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). The event will be streamed on the official website of Xiaomi China.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already confirmed that the phone will be launched in two colors: Black and White. He shared some photos of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra confirming the phone’s design. You can see a big circular camera module and a faux leather back. There’s a quad camera setup.

Both color variants of Xiaomi Ultra will feature aluminum frames. Some reports also suggest that there will be a phone with a titanium frame, but it will have limited availability.

The phone will feature a 1-inch 50-megapixel LYT900 sensor, two telephoto cameras with 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors – with focal lengths of 75mm and 120mm, and an ultra-wide-angle camera.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display, Android 14-based HyperOS, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 5,180mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The phone will also be introduced to global markets on February 25th at its MWC 2024 event. Xiaomi is also expected to latch other Xiaomi 14 series phones globally at the same event.
