Tecno has announced its latest smartphone Tecno Camon 30 Premier at MWC 2024. The phone comes with the first in-house imaging tech for an improved photography experience.

The most notable feature of this phone is the PolarAce Imaging System which is built around a Sony’s CXD5622GG chip. CXD5622GG is an ISP rated at 4.6 TFLOPS at FP16 (16-bit floating point). The chip performs several tasks such as full-scene AI noise reduction for HDR videos, and 4K Ultra Night Vision videos. This chip uses much less power than other ISPs when processing 4K 30fps video.

The phone will feature a 6.77-inch OLED display with 1,400 nits peak brightness. It will use an LTPO panel and will also be the first non-foldable Tecno phone to use this panel.

It will be powered by Dimensity 8200 Ultra, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. The phone will run Android 14 out of the box.

The Tecno Camon Premier 5G features a metallic mid-frame and a rear breathing light known as Action Dot. This light illuminates during video recording and while the phone is charging.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR Blaster, USB-C, and GPS. The phone also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging.
