The latest report from Counterpoint reveals a staggering statistic: 7 out of the 10 best-selling smartphones in 2023 belong to Apple. Apple dominates the top 7 spots on the list. It showcases the popularity of popularity of iPhones. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy A-series, known for its affordability, fills the remaining three spots at the bottom of the rankings.
Apple’s iPhone 14 was the best-selling phone in 2023 with an estimated 3.9% of total smartphone shipments. Almost half of iPhone 14’s shipments were in the US and China. iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro were in second and third places.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Samsung Galaxy A04e, and Samsung Galaxy A14 4G secured the last three places respectively. These phones saw good sales in emerging markets like Brazil, India, Mexico, and Indonesia.
