In a launch event today in New Delhi, Realme introduced its highly anticipated 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ smartphones in India. The Realme 12 series, which includes the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, promises an unparalleled experience with cutting-edge features and an exquisite design.
Both the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ boast a stunning 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1260Hz instant touch sampling rate. It also has up to 950 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The Realme 12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the 12 Pro+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The inclusion of a 3D VC Cooling system with a 3394mm² vapor chamber in the 12 Pro+ ensures optimal thermal management for extended usage. Realme 12 only has 8GB RAM and is offered with 128GB and 256GB storage. realme 12 Pro+ has 8+128GB, 8+256GB, and 12+256GB models.
Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ run Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 out of the box. Similar to predecessors, these phones should also get 2 Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
The camera setup is also different in these phones. Realme 12 Pro has 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS & Sony IMX882, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 32 megapixels Sony IMX709 2X telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. Realme 12 Pro+ has 50 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX890 sensor & OIS, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 64 megapixels 3X periscope telephoto camera with 6X in-sensor zoom.
For selfies, Realme 12 Pro has 16 megapixels front camera and Realme 12 Pro+ has 32 megapixels front camera.
These phones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio. Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ have 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, Dual -frequency GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C connectivity.
Both phones pack a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. These phones can be charged up to 50% in 19 minutes and 100% in 48 minutes.
Realme collaborated with Luxury Watch Designer Ollivier Savéo to design these phones. So, these phones come with a premium feel. Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ come in Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige colors. For the Indian market, Realme also introduced an exclusive Explorer Red version of Realme 12 Pro+ that will be available starting February 9th, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Both phones are IP65 Dust and splash-resistant.

The phones are set to hit the market on February 6th, and an early access sale is scheduled from 6 to 8 PM today, January 29th. The pricing details are as follows:
