Microsoft has updated the Xbox app for PC. The app now comes with a few changes and several improvements. The app now includes a Compact mode that has been designed for handheld gaming PCs.
The compact mode brings a minimal interface. You will have to go to the My Library section to access your installed games. Microsoft also says that the company is working with manufacturers like ASUS and Lenovo to bring the new Compact mode by default on their handheld devices.
The Xbox PC app has also updated the notifications section. It now lets users see only unread notifications instead of all. The Gaming Service Repair Tool has been added to fix issues with Gaming Service or missing content. The app also comes with a specific Japanese keyboard layout.
The updated Xbox app for PC is now available for Windows 10 and Windows 11. You can download it through Microsoft Store.
