Finally, we have the results of The Game Awards 2023. Over 100 global media and influencer outlets cast their voices for 31 award categories this year. All the winners were announced live on the Game Awards stream.
Baldur’s Gate 3 won the Game of The Year award at The Game Awards 2023. The game also won the award for the Player’s Voice, Best Performance, Best Community Support, Best Multiplayer, and Best RPG. Alan Wake 2 won awards for Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction. As expected, Valorant won the award for the Best Esports Game. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was nominated for seven awards but couldn’t manage to win a single award.
Immediately after the show, Larian Studios surprised the gaming community by launching Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox.
