Xiaomi today launched Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G in India. Both phones feature a 6.74-inch 90Hz HD+ display and a 5000mAh battery. These phones differ in SoC, camera, and other specs. Redmi 13C starts at Rs. 7,999 and Redmi 13C 5G starts at Rs. 9,999.
Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G feature a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 600 nits of brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The display panel also has a U-shaped notch at the top center for the selfie camera. These phones run MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Redmi 13C packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Redmi 13C 5G comes with an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Redmi 13C is offers in three variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Redmi 13C 5G also comes in three variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Redmi 13C uses 8GB + 256GB and eMMC 5.1 internal storage. On the other hand, Redmi 13C 5G comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. Internal storage is expandable up to 1TB in both phones.
Redmi 13C has a triple camera with 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, and an Auxiliary lens. The 5G model retains the same camera setup but ditches the Auxiliary lens. Redmi 13C has an 8 megapixels front camera while the Redmi 13C has 5 megapxiels selfie camera at the front.
Connectivity options of Redmi 13C include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. Redmi 13C offers 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
Both phones pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. The phone is shipped with a 10W power adapter in the box.
Redmi 13C 5G has Dynamic Star Trail Design and the regular Redmi 13C has Star Shine Design for the base variant. Both phones feature Dust and Splash resistance. Redmi 13C measures 168×78×8.09mm and weighs 192g.
